Create a preventive-maintenance planner, daily driver defect process and evidence trail for inspections, repairs, annual tests and vehicle-off-road decisions.
Drivers and time
Check licence entitlement, CPC where applicable, induction and competence. Establish controls for drivers’ hours, tachographs, working time, agency drivers and infringement follow-up where relevant.
Management and evidence
Define responsibilities for loading, safe operation, changes to the licence, records and escalation. A system only works when someone reviews exceptions and follows up the required actions.
